You bring the ambition and talent; we’ll open exciting new doors for you. Take the next step in your banking career with the Credit Suisse Summer Analyst Program. In this challenging, rewarding 10-week summer program working in the Risk team, you develop your skills so you can influence tomorrow. Beginning with a one-day company orientation, you’ll spend one week in training and nine weeks as an integral part of the Risk team. This position is part of our Risk division, an industry leader in risk management driving the firm’s global success.
Over the course of this program you continue to learn and develop through ongoing training, and hear from experienced senior employees from a variety of divisions in our summer speaker series. Mentorship opportunities help you identify your strengths and plan your career, while social activities, community service and networking events connect you with a range of people from across the firm. When you complete the program you will have gained crucial experience in all areas of the Risk division, and a firm understanding of how a global investment bank functions. Once you’ve seen the big picture, it’s time to paint your own.

Academic requirements: You should be graduating from a university in December 2023 or May/June 2024.

Your field of responsibility
Selected Analysts will attend a one-day company orientation followed by two days of training prior to starting risk functional work within your team for the summer. Analysts will receive further skills training, departmental projects/tasks while on the job in addition to numerous networking events and opportunities. Learning experiences will continue throughout the summer with numerous speaker series, where you’ll hear from senior management across the risk divisions. To help you determine your strengths and plan your career, Summer Analysts are matched with mentors within CRO, who provide advice and guidance throughout the summer. Analysts will also participate in firm-wide events that will help ensure that you are exposed to all the areas within the bank and understand the big picture of a global investment bank. Analysts will be tasked with an end of summer presentation for senior management to help expand your knowledge and develop presentation skills. The summer is structured to have a balance of work, social and philanthropy events as well as networking opportunities.

The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Function is to drive strategic and sustainable returns on risk that reflect the Risk Appetite of the bank.
