The Opportunity:
HKA is continuing to grow in North America and looking to add to its successful and dynamic team of professionals. We are currently recruiting business students for an Associate position in the Bay Area offices at HKA. This role would include some of the following responsibilities:
- Supports the collection, research, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Supports development of expert reports.
- Assists with building models to analyze economic and financial data using spreadsheets and databases.
- Reviews and summarizes client documents, analyst reports, and third party financial and industry data.
- Assists with engagement management administration, including billing and conflict checks.
- Performs quality assurance.
- Other analysis and client engagement support as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant coursework with an anticipated graduation date of Spring/Summer of 2023.
- A minimum Grade Point Average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint -- Experience with Microsoft Access, SQL, SAS or other database management software a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve independently and as part of a team.
- High degree of professionalism, integrity and flexibility.

The annual salary for this role will be between $70,000 and $100,000 dependent upon experience, discipline and qualifications.
