Digital Marketing Coordinator

Role

As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will execute the posting schedule on Shabang social media accounts upon hire until 12/31/2022. From 1/1/23 to 5/31/23, you will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to assist with story posts, content ideation, writing copy, community engagement, etc. During the festival, you will be live posting on all Shabang social platforms.




Responsibilities

  • Executing posting schedule for Shabang social media accounts upon hire until 12/31/2022.
  • Advise & assist overall social media strategy, working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Actively engage with our fan base and partners on social media platforms by liking, commenting, and responding to messages on FB, IG, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Twitter, etc. Includes some basic day to day social media management tasks.
  • Collection, distribution, and management of Shabang media assets and ultimately overseeing the organization of the Shabang Content library.
  • Writing copy that is in line with our brand identity, making sure assets have the correct messaging and logistical information, and that our social media posts lands with our target audience.
  • Request assets via writing briefs from our Creative Team.
  • Be a part of bi-monthly content creation meetings and potential production of ideated content
  • Running Shabang social media & admin accounts on the days of the festival. Live posting, responding to inquiries, working with the day of media team, etc.




Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 
Pursuing or obtained Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience. Remote position besides the days of the event, with the ability to dedicate 5 hours a week from November - May.

Preferred qualifications: 
Pursuing or obtained Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, graphic communications, or business. Experience running large event based social media accounts. High organizational ability. Strong writing skills. Basic graphic design capabilities. Tech-savvy.
