The Main Responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence Analyst Intern, you will work closely with team of developers on a project to create inventory of reports including descriptions, business owners, source control, utilization, and quality assurance measure from portal that contains full suite of reports from financial, sales, and operations.
Week by week project plan will be provided interacting with three different Business Intelligence Managers on the team. Intern will be expected to work within Microsoft Suite of products for MS Project, PowerBI, SSIS, and SSRS.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Education Requirements
- Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior or master’s level education status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2023 – May 2024.
- Major/Degree: In pursuit of degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar technical degree field.
- Proficiency and understanding of:
- SQL Server, SSRS and SSIS
- Power BI
- Extensive analytical experience
- Experience working with large data sets
- Professional Attributes
- Strong drive for results and taking initiative
- Ability to be resourceful and adaptable
- Ability to collaborate and have agility while making effective decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with business partners and drive the conversation.

- Work Setting
- Ideally the position will be hybrid, working in our Broomfield -CO office, May consider remote/ work from home.
- Intern must be able to work 30-40 hours be week during the 10-week program (June – August)
- Intern must have reliable transportation to/from work location (Lumen does not provide transportation to/from Lumen office locations)
- US work authorization
