How you’ll make an impact:
As a member of our mobile engineering team, you will have the opportunity to bring the SiriusXM and Pandora radio experience to our large and expanding mobile customer base. You will get the chance to take on complex and interesting problems as part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team. We hold ourselves to high standards and take pride in our work. You should have an understanding of quality app development in either Swift and iPhone/iPad development or Kotlin and native Android development. As a member of our highly motivated team, you should be dedicated to excellence and have a strong sense of personal responsibility.
What you’ll do:
Be a member of an efficient and high performing team focused on developing best-in-class media entertainment experiences
Contribute to new features being built for our listeners on the iOS or Android apps
Collaborate with peers on solving complex problems
Write clear, maintainable code that can be reused and shared across our suite of applications
What you’ll need:
Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2024 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.
Currently enrolled in a Computer Science program or relevant experience developing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android
Experience with mobile development tools (Xcode and/or Android Studio) and modern UI frameworks (SwiftUI and/or Jetpack Compose)
An understanding of software development lifecycles
A curious and collaborative mindset. You like hard problems and collaborating with others to solve them.
Strong understanding of object oriented programming
Experience working with modern mobile app architecture (ie. MVVM)
Strong analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
