Software Engineer - Infrastructure (New Grad)

The Arista hardware team is responsible for designing and delivering the most technologically advanced networking equipment. As an infrastructure software engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to work on a groundbreaking system that will serve the entire hardware team to deliver and grow our multi-billion dollar business line effectively. You will work with other team members to design, build and administer secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant tools and infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment.
Responsibilities
- Building, integrating, and maintaining tools and infrastructure used by a rapidly growing team of 100+ engineers
- Deciding what features to build
- Driving the design
- Writing the code (of course)
- Pushing testing
- Documenting the feature
- Supporting customers

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or electrical engineering
- 2 - 3 years of software development experience; prior infrastructure software development experience would be a plus (prior internships/extracurricular projects)
- Experience with Linux, python, and GoLang
- Familiar with K8S, docker, Jenkins, Gitlab, and Perforce
