Scientific Aid (JC-341501)

Please note: this position is paid on an hourly basis and limited to 1500 hours per calendar year. The salary range for Scientific Aid is $15.68 - $18.60 per hour.

The Adaptive Management Unit of the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board is looking for a Scientific Aid who is interested in helping us fulfil our vision: Healthy Watersheds, Effective Regulation, Strong Partnerships. If you love data, working in teams, and getting outdoors, this position is for you! Assist with water quality data collection, analysis, and reporting for the Elk River, Scott River, and Shasta River Stewardship Programs; help collect and evaluate data for flow objective related Basin Planning Projects; and participate in tracking and responding to Freshwater Harmful Algal Blooms. Our office offers free parking and is located at 5550 Skylane Blvd., Suite A in Santa Rosa, CA, in the heart of beautiful Sonoma County close to the SMART Train and local eateries.
