Programmer/Database Developer

Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and manage programs and database systems including application design, development and documentation, writing user manuals, and training users. Provide assistance to tribal and NWIFC staff on all database matters. Provide backup and assistance for Information and Database Systems Manager. Coordinate with other agencies for developing access and sharing of data and database systems.
 
Qualifications: AA/AS in Programing/Computer Science or related field. One year work experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledgeable of Windows and Apple Operating Systems. Experience in designing, documenting and managing database systems and applications. Proficient SQL. Knowledge of programming languages preferably Java, JavaScript, SQL and C. PowerBuilder Knowledge a plus. Ability to obtain a Washington State Driver’s License.
