Game Design Producer and Product Manager [mobile apps and live-ops publishing]

FUN-GI makes games that define genres. With a strategy in easing access to mid-core mechanics in untouched game categories, we focus on franchises that shift the paradigm for games as brand platforms.

In addition to the development of unannounced titles, we service live operations for House Flip, a top-ranked game in the Apple App Store and Google Play with over 16 million downloads and rated at 4.5-stars with 300,000+ reviews. We're currently seeking a Game Design Producer and Product Manager with live operations and mobile game development experience, and who cares about values centered on process, product, relationships, and people.

The Game Design Producer and Product Manager will have the following responsibilities:
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage projects that execute upon game features and art content fulfilling the product roadmap, ensuring that we adhere to the project schedule and scope
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to service live game operations in the timely delivery of art, quality assurance, language localizations, and application submissions
  • Form a deep understanding of our player-base to thoughtfully deliver exceptional game experiences
  • Write clear and concise production documents and break down complex tasks into meaningful, actionable, and time-bound components in Asana
  • Identify and document impactful game feature opportunities in collaboration with business analytics, art, marketing, and QA teams
  • Collaborate with art and engineering teams to ensure that incremental and finished game features are scalable and align with the product vision
  • Work with data analysts to define user behavior questions and design hypothesis tests with specific and measurable goals that directly and indirectly drive improved retention, engagement and monetization
  • Monitor internal analytics dashboards to assess the effectiveness of new and existing features, the health of the existing user base and the quality of new user cohorts
  • Team up with artists, marketers, and engineers in creating fun and scalable game mechanics

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Game Design, or digital art-related disciplines
  • 2+ years of experience in game production and servicing live ops in mobile free-to-play and subscription economies
  • 2+ years of experience working with artists, engineers, and/or technical production
  • 2+ years of experience with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, or Trello
  • 2+ years of experience in a SCRUM/Agile environment
  • 2+ years of experience in team management
  • 1+ years of experience in Unity
  • Experience communicating cross-functionally with numerous stakeholders
  • Love of games, media, and entertainment; with a strong understanding of what makes games fun and successful

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in quantitative analysis and ability to refine hypotheses/models by interpreting synthesized user data
  • Experience working with UI/UX design and usability. Proficiency in Photoshop, Sketch, Balsamiq, Figma, or other visual design and wireframing tools
  • Subject matter expertise in architecture, interior design, narrative design, and magical realism
