Junior Analyst / Information Technology Professional
The Client Experience department is responsible for maintaining security standards on devices issued by workstation and mobility services (WMS), including, but not limited to, antivirus software provisioning, software patching, and encryption configuration. WMS is also responsible for imaging, backup, and restoration services for WMS-managed devices.
The Junior Analyst provides front-line operational coordination which includes workstation setup, support, management, and decommission. Working as a team player, the Junior Analyst triages incoming customer requests, and handles customer escalations which may include working with university stakeholders to configure and distribute assets to meet business objectives; tagging, managing, and decommissioning assets.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge normally acquired in the first two or three years of college, technical, vocational or business school such as an Associate’s Degree; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an information technology area related to the duties to be performed OR a Bachelor’s Degree; up to six months of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an information technology area related to the duties to be performed; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with imaging, asset management, and backup software; working with vendors; managing workstations in a complex environment (both Windows and iOS); exceptional customer service values and skills, including ability to successfully resolve conflicts constructively and to maintain positive relationships with customer groups; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines; curiosity in new and emerging technologies.
