Internship Architect/Interior Designer (Hybrid)

Who are we looking searching for:

We're searching for a fast learner, creative and a team player Co-Op to work with our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is looking for an opportunity to work with great people, do interesting work, and build a solid career with a firm that encourages and rewards personal growth and achievement. 

As a Co-op with Lavallee Brensinger Architects you will have the opportunity to develop your current skills, grow new ones, work in a collaborative atmosphere on award-winning projects. As leaders in technology, we use BIM and are 100% Revit based.

What will you do:

  • Work directly with Principals, Project Managers, Marketing, and other staff
  • Architectural project work including but not necessarily limited to:
      Renderings and graphics
      Revit / 3D modeling
      Construction documents
      Spreadsheets, word processing, and other miscellaneous tasks
      Research
      Preparation of presentations, renderings and models
  • Architectural and Interiors Library maintenance 
  • Ordering samples and coordination with product representatives
  • Scheduling and coordination for informational and Lunch and Learn presentations
  • Office administrative and operational tasks of various types including but not limited to:
     Ordering of office supplies
     Coordination and upkeep of conference spaces
  • Assistance with marketing and business development proposals graphics and miscellaneous tasks
  • Any additional tasks/duties assigned within the scope of position

Qualifications:

  • Be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Third year or higher architect or interior designer student
  • Proficiency with the following programs: Adobe Suite (In-Design & Photoshop), Sketch Up, Microsoft Office
  • Revit experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative
  • Desire to learn and expand your talents
