Talent Acquisition Specialist (US-Based Remote)

Tetra Tech International Development (http://tetratechintdev.com) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This position is based in Arlington, VA or Burlington, Vermont areas with consideration of other remote, US-based locations.

Position Description: The Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as the staffing lead for US-based positions, working to identify, recruit, and onboard candidates for headquarters positions and those on US-based projects. This individual will work under the general supervision of the Global Talent Operations Director and is accountable to hiring managers for leading the US-based recruitment and staffing process. As the Specialist leads the recruitment and onboarding processes for US-based career positions, candidates should demonstrate outstanding communications, intercultural, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
* Coordinate requisition process with hiring managers and senior management;
* Post all US-based positions on the company websites, with respective state Departments of Labor, and relevant industry websites;
* Source specialized candidates, monitor applicant tracking system, and triangulate candidate leads; 
* Collaborate with hiring managers to short-list candidates;
* Perform and document preliminary phone screenings;
* Update home office staffing reports weekly, and circulate to designated senior personnel;
* Maintain contact with finalist candidates regarding the status of their candidacies;
* Interview and/or complete reference checks for non-technical candidates as requested;
* Conduct training sessions on recruitment-related topics;
* Liaise with the Corporate Office to ensure all EEO and AAP compliance and reporting obligations are met;
* Populate and update recruitment tracking files in professional roster and capture all candidate communications;
* Coordinate and schedule all interviews and new hire orientations with the office administration team, driving communications necessary to ensure smooth onboarding;
* Ensure all candidate background documentation is captured, vetted, and validated;
* Ensure all job descriptions for US-based positions are accurate, up to date, and in the correct format;
* Draft employment agreements for US-based project and headquarters hires;
* Collaborate with hiring managers on transition announcements and post on HR SharePoint site;
* Initiate and coordinate spring and summer internship recruitment, from requisitions to onboarding;
* Ensure the SharePoint site is up to date with the most current and useful recruiting and onboarding guidance; and
* Assist the Global Talent Operations team with other related duties and administrative support as determined by the Director.

Qualifications:
* Minimum of bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or an area related to one of the firm’s practice areas;
* Minimum of two (2) years of related experience;
* Passive recruitment/candidate sourcing experience using social media;
* Solid knowledge of EEO compliance requirements;
* Ability to organize own work and perform independently while closely and appropriately coordinating with team members;
* Very strong interpersonal, intercultural, and verbal/written communication skills;
* Excellent information management and organizational skills, with great attention to detail;
* Demonstrated high level of reliability and follow-through;
* Must be comfortable working on concurrent projects and activities with poise and professionalism;
* Excellent ability to integrate into teams smoothly and understand requirements quickly;
* High proficiency in MS Office applications and databases;
* Must be an energetic, enthusiastic, and positive collaborative team player; and
* U.S. work authorization required.
