The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Water Rights has one opening for Water Resource Control Engineers in a new Supply and Demand Assessment Section. If you enjoy technical water resource engineering and modeling, development and implementation of new programs, and making collaborative relationships with stakeholders, this may be the position for you. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 14th Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.

Duties:
The positions will work with multidisciplinary technical and professional staff to develop supply and demand models, and allocation tools for implementing the water rights priority system in critical watersheds. Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
