Are you excited by the opportunity to lead a new unit developing new programs and working with highly complex and technical materials? The State Water Resources Control Board is seeking a Senior Water Resource Control Engineer (Supervisor) to oversee the Division’s Supply & Demand Assessment Unit. The unit is developing and applying complex supply/demand models and water allocation tools for implementing the water rights priority system in critical watersheds. The position is based at the CalEPA Headquarters Building at 1001 I Street, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation. Remote-centric telework is available.

Candidates must possess essential personal qualifications including integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, the ability to work cooperatively with others, and the ability to perform the assigned duties of the class.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
