Job Title: UX Designer - Web Site Migration Intern
About the Role:
We are seeking a Web Site Migration Intern to provide support for our web site migration project. The Intern will work closely with our project team to assist in the migration of content from the existing website to the new website. This is a great opportunity for a student seeking hands-on experience in web site migration and to work with a team of professionals in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the migration of content from the existing website to the new website.
- Help organize and structure content on the new website.
- Conduct user research to ensure the new website is user-friendly and meets the needs of citizens.
- Help develop a content strategy for the new website that ensures content is relevant and useful to users.
- Conduct usability testing on the new website to identify any usability issues that need to be addressed.
- Assist in the development of training materials to ensure staff are familiar with the new website.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a related field.
- Experience with web site migration or related work.
- Familiarity with web content management systems, such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Experieince in using Figma.
