HFA Student Ambassador
Job Summary:
The Student Ambassador Program at HFA is seeking dedicated and passionate students to join our team as volunteers. As a Student Ambassador, you will work on various projects related to food insecurity, both in your local community (your school and/or local orgs) and remotely. You will help promote the program and its mission, as well as participate in volunteer activities to make a positive impact in your school and community.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in volunteer projects related to food insecurity in your local community and/or remotely.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to develop skills and knowledge related to community service and leadership.
- Potentially coordinate and plan volunteer opportunities with your classmates.
- Assist with program marketing and outreach efforts to engage more students and community members.
- Promote the Student Ambassador Program and its mission to your peers.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a student in high school or college.
- Passionate about volunteering in one's community and/or volunteer experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Familiarity with issues related to food insecurity is a plus.
Time Commitment:
- This is a volunteer position, time commitments may vary but will never exceed 5-10 hours a month.
- You will need to commit time for training sessions, meetings, and volunteer activities.
