IT Writer \ IT Analyst

Note: Dates provided in listing can be +/- 2 weeks. This job can be remote - locations listed are near office sites.

We are looking for a Technical Writer and Technical interviewer to analyze our Knowledge Base of information and populate re-writes into our ITSM ServiceNow platform.
Technical writers prepare instruction manuals, how-to guides, journal articles, and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information more easily.

The audience for the articles and knowledge material will be entirely internal to the company.

We have knowledge artifacts in several different systems and are migrating into a centralized Knowledge Management system. We need assiststance with moving and re-writing some articles, interviewing Subject Matter Experts and enhancing the articles with additional detail and poupluating new articles in our new system - ServiceNow.

Additionally, when we have issues in technology the Technical Writer will help document what happened, the impact and the steps taken to resolve the issue. This will help us more quickly resolve future issues that are similar.

This is a position for someone:
  • comfortable with written communications
  • comfortable editing and re-writing existing articles
  • comfortable and looking to gain experience in interviewing associates for additional information
  • self-directed
  • This is largely a COMMUNICATIONS position within a technical function of a healthcare administrative company
