The EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases is a nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy organization dedicated to empowering the rare disease patient community to advocate for impactful, science-driven legislation and policy that advances the equitable development of and access to lifesaving diagnoses, treatments, and cures. The Foundation works with patient advocates, lawmakers, industry, academic scientists, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to advance the equitable development of and access to lifesaving diagnoses, treatments, and cures.

As a member of the Communications team, you will work to build and produce social media content, graphics, and promote Foundation events and initiatives. This work will entail working closely with staff at the EveryLife Foundation as well as rare disease patients.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Manages the day-to-day production of social media content, builds meaningful connections, and encourages community engagement;
  • Assists in the creation of graphics elements that convey accurate messaging for each program, event or campaign;
  • Assists in monitoring and tracking the success of social media and email marketing campaigns using data analytics tools and sharing insights to help generate data-driven improvements, providing strategic direction and guidance on increased engagement;
  • Contributes with creative, out-of-the box ideas for marketing and the promotion of different events and programs;
  •  Ensures that all visual content is consistent with our brand guidelines and messaging;
  •  Assists with updating EveryLife and RDLA website’s content and logo blocks; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

This paid internship will be 10-15 hours per week from May through the end of August. The location for this position is flexible and may be remote.
