Job Description

Industrial Engineers perform functions associated with:
  • Planning manufacturing layout of factory floor

  • Determining the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow,

  • Establishing methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.

  • Developing metrics to measure equipment, factory capacity and output, while identifying bottlenecks.

  • Establish and assist in establishing training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.

  • Conducting studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.

  • Developing and implementing plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline such as Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.

  • 1+ year demonstrated capabilities and knowledge in manufacturing science, data analysis, and project/program management.

  • 6+ months of experience with one or more data analytical tools such as MS Excel, JMP, MiniTab, or SQL Pathfinder with basic understanding of data structures/query fundamentals and experience with scripting languages.

  • 6+ months of experience/knowledge in operations research including theory of constraints, supply chain management and factory physics.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 1+ year experience in Data extraction and analysis with tools such as R, Python, SQL, C, or C++ desired.

  • Optimization and Simulation skills.

  • Financial/cost/ROI analysis.

  • Strong statistics knowledge and application.

  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and applications.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
