Summer 2023 Podcasting Intern
Smarttwigs is a technology consulting company preparing to launch a new social media app where brands, influencers, and nonprofits can collaborate together to solve problems they face with what they are most passionate about. This would be a great opportunity to get involved with a high growth startup and to help build something truly impactful.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic intern who can Content Intern to scale our internal podcast production efforts.You should be an adept communicator who is excited about producing a podcast about what it’s really like to found and build a business in the startup space.You will be a part of a team passionate about developing a diverse slate of original podcast programming. Experience with social media marketing and audio editing is a MUST, and experience utilizing audio editing software is a huge plus.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Journalism, Broadcast, Film, TV, Photography, Multi-Media or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in blogging and social media marketing (required)
- 1 year of experience in audio editing (preferred)
- Familiarity with the process of uploading and distributing audio/video to iTunes, Soundcloud, and other mediums
- Familiarity working in a newsroom or radio station, or otherwise producing a podcast/vlogging series
- Ability to research, develop, and produce leading content (scripts/outlines/interviews)
