Summer 2023 Podcast Host Intern
Smarttwigs is a technology consulting company preparing to launch a new social media app where brands, influencers, and nonprofits can collaborate together to solve problems they face with what they are most passionate about. This would be a great opportunity to get involved with a high growth startup and to help build something truly impactful.
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Podcast/Video Show Host to interview some of the most prominent members of our app’s community. You should be an adept communicator who keeps up with entertainment news, understands social issues, and has a good understanding of current trends and social media culture. You will be a part of a team of producers, editors and PR people, but you will be the face of this interview show.
Requirements:
- Must have firm grasp on celebrity and entertainment news, and current social media trends.
- Interest in doing extensive research and supplementary interviews to prep for each episode.
- Experience working in a newsroom or radio station, or otherwise producing a podcast/ vlogging series is a plus.
- Comfortable working on a team, taking feedback, and being on camera are musts.
- Currently pursuing a degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Business Administration, Journalism, Public Relations, Media, or related.
