Creative Design Intern

 
Overview
ThePostGame is a leading sports studio and consultancy that has been serving leagues, teams, TV networks, publishers, brands and athletes for more than a decade. The tasks and activities in which the Intern is expected to participate in during the internship are as follows.
 
Job Title: Creative & Design Intern
 
Job Description
The Creative and Design Intern will support ThePostGame’s content and design teams and other key stakeholders in developing and executing TPG’s content and social media strategies. This person will play a key role at TPG, working across all areas of our business.
 
Tasks and Activities:
  • Assist with content ideation, asset development and visual storytelling
  • Create a wide range of videos, motion and static graphics for emerging social media platforms
  • Collaborate across marketing and business development verticals on design and activation strategies
  • Follow social media trends and help ideate around new types of content to test based on how and where content is being consumed
  • Attend and participate in company-wide meetings and client brainstorms
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Receive professional development training and participate in company orientation
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-starter able to work independently without supervision
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Solid knowledge of and interest in sports, particularly college and professional sports, is preferred
  • Passion for video creation and graphic design pertaining to social media
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop required
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Adobe Illustrator preferred
  • Excitement for emerging social media trends on TikTok, Instagram and Twitter
  • Background in UI or UX design is preferred but not required
