We cover social strategy, content development, influencer management, messaging, media training, media relations, events and conferences, crisis support, and more. While we collaborate to talk through issues and come up with new ideas, plans and strategies, employees at Ditto also maintain a high-level of personal responsibility. This means each team member at Ditto understands their role and responsibilities, expectations on accounts and how to accomplish the work expected of them.
About The Internship
Interns will have the opportunity to work remotely "side-by-side" with the team and participate in hands-on PR initiatives. We welcome all students who are curious, driven, and have a positive attitude.
Our internships will be full-time remote or in person (M-F, 9:00am - 5:00pm ET) paid positions beginning around June 5th, 2023 until on/around August 18, 2023.
Hourly Rate: $19.50
What You Will Do
- Learn how to generate creative story angles and pitch reporters to secure media coverage in print, broadcast and online outlets
- Research daily crypto news and work with a team to compile Ditto’s morning newsletter The Daily Dive
- Learn to use our tools: MuckRack, Propel, Constant Contact, Canva, Sprout
- Collaborate with account teams to support client goals
- Conduct research and create a long form trend report for a specific industry (past examples have included future of money/crypto forecast, cannabis and mainstream adoption, smart homes, Covid-19 and Higher Education)
- Participate in internal and client meetings
Who You Are
- You have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- You are enrolled in a degree program relevant to Communications, Marketing, Journalism, and/or related fields.
- You love learning new things, solving problems, and mindful growth.
