Please note: this position is paid on an hourly basis and limited to 1500 hours per calendar year. The salary range for Student Assistant (E&A) is $16.09 - $24.78 per hour. 

The California Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Diego Region (San Diego Water Board) has an opening for a Student Assistant (E&A) in the Groundwater Sustainability and Protection Unit located at 2375 Northside Drive, San Diego, CA 92108.

Under close supervision of the Groundwater Protection Unit Supervisor or delegated technical staff, and consistent with good customer service practices and the goals of the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) strategic plan and San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board’s (SDRWQCB) Practical Vision, the incumbent is expected to be courteous and provide timely responses to internal and external customers, follow through on commitments, and consider both internal and external customer input when completing work assignments.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
