GIS Analyst
RES is looking for a GIS Analyst based out of our Dania Beach, FL office.
The mission: Our Florida operation is growing exponentially and needs an entry level GIS technician to assist with a transportation related GIS project. The project consists of georeferencing pdf pages, digitizing assets into a GIS database, attribute data entry, and other tasks related to the database.
What your day-to-day might look like?
Most of your day will be spent in the office working on GIS related projects, mostly pertaining to transportation. There may be additional opportunities to assist in other GIS related projects within the office including internal map production for various projects, data manipulation, database updates.
Qualifications
We would love to talk to you if you have many of the following:
- Experience digitizing features from aerial photos using ESRI products.
- Professional experience using ESRI's ArcGIS suite of software, including ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcPro.
- Strong geospatial data collection and documentation skills.
- Strong GIS problem solving skills.
