The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Information Technology has an opening for an Information Technology Specialist II in the Server Operations Unit. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 8th Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation. This position offers Telework.

Duties:
The Information Technology Specialist II Acts as a technical and project lead for the Server Operations Unit (SOU) on most complex information technology systems for LINUX server maintenance and support, technical recovery planning, server back-up management and reporting.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
