Asbestos Prep Technician I- Cinnaminson, NJ
EMSL Analytical, Inc., one of the largest environmental testing firms in the United States, is currently seeking a Full Time Asbestos Prep Technician I for its Headquarters location in Cinnaminson, NJ.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare environmental samples prior to analysis Air Sample Prep, Bulk Sample Prep, Dust, PLM and Gravimetric/Silica Prep- Will Train.
Assist with cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Use balances, HEPA filtered fume hoods, filtration systems and muffle furnaces to prep samples.
Cross train and/or assist in other departments if needed to meet business demands.
Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Requirements:
Minimum requirement is High School diploma or equivalent.
Some college course work completed a plus.
One to two years’ of previous academic or commercial lab experience a plus.
Experienced candidates are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
Candidate must be able to distinguish colors in order to perform analysis.
Must be willing and able to stand for various lengths of time.
Must be able to work independently and with a team.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced setting, multi-task, and prioritize assignments.
Must have good communication, computer, typing, and organizational skills.
Available Shifts:
Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Training schedule to start will be Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday to Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Training schedule to start will be Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
