826 Boston’s College Essay and Professional Writing Workshop Series

826 Boston is bringing its College Essay and Professional Writing Workshop to a group of 25 high school interns from the EdVestors Bloomberg Arts Internship program. The six-part workshop series supports rising juniors and seniors in developing and refining their college application essays, resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and personal pitches.

Each tutoring shift includes:
a 15-minute volunteer pre-brief to discuss the day’s topic,
a 15-20-minute mini-lesson led by a member of the 826 Boston team,
a 75-70-minute work block when volunteers will work with one or two students, and 
a 15-minute debrief to discuss successes, challenges, and learnings from the day.

Dates: July 13, July 20, July 27, August 3, August 10, and August 17. 
Time: 
8:45-10:45am
10:45am-12:45pm
12:45-2:45pm
