Grant Writer
General Statement of Duties:
The Grant Writer is responsible for researching and developing grant proposals to secure funding for a non-profit organization. They work closely with stakeholders, ensure compliance, and have strong writing and research skills. The grant writer will earn 20% of check amount granted after we get paid.
Duties and responsibilities
- Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with the organization's mission and goals.
- Grant Proposal Writing: Prepare and write compelling grant proposals, ensuring they are well-structured, persuasive, and effectively communicate the organization's needs and impact.
- Grant Application Process: Manage the entire grant application process, including gathering necessary documentation, adhering to deadlines, and submitting complete and accurate applications.
- Budget Development: Work closely with the finance team to develop accurate and detailed budgets for grant proposals, ensuring alignment with the funder's guidelines and requirements.
- Grant Reporting: Monitor and track awarded grants, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and providing timely and accurate reports to funders on the organization's progress and impact.
