Technology Intern

About Roscommon Analytics:

Roscommon Analytics LLC is a fast-growing business using technology and analytics expertise to generate profits in the energy commodity markets, with a focus on power and natural gas. Since its inception in November 2016, the firm has grown to over 80 employees with offices around the globe. Roscommon has a single, “brand-name” institution as its financial partner providing over $500 million in capital.

The firm started with offices in New York and Houston, trading in the North American power and gas markets. It opened an office in Australia in 2018 to leverage its analytics in the Australian power markets.  In 2021 it entered the European natural gas markets with an office in London, and has now grown to include offices in Sweden, Germany, and Switzerland to focus on the European power and carbon markets.

In the United States, Roscommon’s major growth initiative is entering the battery and renewable energy markets by leveraging its deep understanding of the underlying power markets.  It is joint venturing with a development group to build and manage “utility scale” battery installations, and solar plants coupled with batteries. This joint venture is Spearmint Energy.
