This is a Limited Term (LT) position and may be extended up to 24 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. If becoming permanent, the selected candidate must have eligibility for a permanent appointment at the time of the LT appointment or at the time of the conversion.

The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Financial Assistance is seeking a motivated Associate Governmental Program Analyst dedicated to being a part of the high performing Loans and Grants Administration team. The position is located at 1001 I Street, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations, other public transportation, restaurants and more.

Duties: Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst administratively manages funding agreements and amendments for federal and state funded water quality projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: independently analyzes, creates, and amends complex funding agreements and encumbrances; implements, recommends, creates, enhances, and maintains procedures; tracks and monitors funding agreements; and independently performs internal audits of project files. Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $5,518.00 - $6,907.00 per month
