The State Water Resource Control Board’s Division of Financial Assistance has an opening for a Staff Services Manager II within the Division of Financial Assistance, Administration Section I.

Duties: The Staff Services Manager II (SSMII) is responsible for operations necessary to meet compliance and surveillance reporting requirements, oversight of the financial review activities, as well as critical, fiscal compliance, analysis, and reporting activities associated with outstanding municipal bond debt, new debt issuances, and loan portfolio management. Timely and professional assistance to the public, as well as internal and external stakeholders and counterparts is expected. The SSMII is required to work independently, communicate effectively by phone, email, mail, or in person, manage multiple tasks and operate proficiently when carrying out all essential functions.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
