Business Development Coordinator - Columbia, SC - 2024

Victor is hiring for a Business Development Coordinator in our Columbia, SC location.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls and/or chats from the queue, addressing general inquiries, appetite questions, technical issues, and providing signup and login assistance.
  • Make outbound calls to support targeted campaigns, such as cross-selling other products and closing additional business.
  • Conduct basic portal demos to showcase our platform's features and functionality.
  • Prequalify agencies on their commercial insurance needs, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
  • Perform agency and lead data entry and cleanup, including updating contact information, removing duplicates, and maintaining accurate profiles.
  • Assist with special projects, such as renewal rewrites, book rolls, manual quoting, and quality assurance testing.

 

Qualifications:

  • Receiving degree with a graduation date between December 2023 - June 2024
  • Location: Columbia, South Carolina (hybrid schedule: 2-3 days in office per week)
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate and empathize with customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software applications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in sales support or customer service roles is preferred.
  • Permanent work authorization in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
