Job Summary
Dominion Energy is seeking an intern to work directly with our Supply Chain team in South Carolina. The position works with supply chain professionals, internal customers, and suppliers to provide strategic solutions. The successful candidate should be in pursuit of a relevant degree and will be exposed to sourcing contracts and purchase orders associated with Power Generation or Electric Transmission and Distribution within the Supply Chain organization supporting the entire Dominion Energy footprint.
Candidates will have the opportunity participate in teams to support requests for services and materials from business units throughout Dominion Energy with a focus on cost, quality, and sustainability in accordance with Dominion policies and procedures. In addition to processing requests, interns will be expected to perform spend analyses and interact with internal customers and subject matter experts to obtain desired results. Exposure to all levels of the business will be included as part of this full-time summer internship, including some day travel to visit Dominion facilities.
The ideal candidate should anticipate graduating in Spring or Fall 2025. This internship has the potential to offer a unique opportunity for a student local to the area to work part-time in Dominion Supply Chain during the academic year, and full time during the summer months.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Qualifications:
- Understanding of supply chain processes
- General knowledge of materials management and forecasting
- General understanding of risk management principles
- Knowledge of statistics/business analytics
- Knowledge of business principles
Education Requirements
Must be in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in your major or overall. Must be graduating in 2025.
