The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Administration Services has an opening for an Associate Governmental Program Analyst in the Labor Relations Unit (LRU).  The position is located at 1001 I Street, 2nd Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations, other public transportation, awesome restaurants and more.

Under direction of the Labor Relations Specialist in the Human Resources Branch (HRB), LRU and consistent with good customer service practices and the goals of the State Water Resources Control Board and Regional Board's Strategic Plan, the incumbent is expected to be courteous and provide timely responses to internal/external customers, follow through on commitments, and to solicit and consider internal/external customer input when completing work assignments. Specific responsibilities include:

Serve as the Water Boards Telework Coordinator by providing information and guidance to supervisors and employees to ensure compliance with the department’s Telework Policy. Generates detailed reports of departmental employees' various approved telework schedules and responds to inquiries regarding telework agreements.

Serves as the Water Boards Filing Officer and Ethics Training Coordinator. This includes notifying all new filers, annual filers, and separating filers of their Statement of Economic Interest (Form 700) and Ethics training responsibilities in accordance with Water Boards, Conflict of Interest Code (COIC) and the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC). The Filing Officer coordinates with the Water Boards, Human Resources Branch Chief, and the Office of Chief Counsel for various reporting and COIC non-compliance and/or possible identified violations.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
