A Snapshot of Your Day

As a business development intern, you will be an integral part of our team, focusing on customers and business opportunities primarily in North America. You drive our pre-sales activities across our portfolio in a challenging transformation period and beyond where passion for a collaborative way of working with our Business Areas and development of new energy solutions in a decarbonized way is a must. Your focus is sustainable business opportunities like Industrial decarbonation, Power-to-X and other opportunities that are both technically and financially profitable.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Support the transparency of our SE Sales Funnel and capture the leads and opportunities in the CRM system, driving the qualification of leads and turning them into high-potential opportunities
  • Establish close and trustful relations with customers and design conceptional solutions for them to position Siemens Energy as early as possible
  • Identify value add elements and support the establishment of suitable business models
  • Contact new customers and support expansion of existing value propositions
  • Develop some methods/material for Key Account Management
  • Support internal organization by understanding and sharing updates on regulatory models and incentives

What You Bring 

  • Currently enrolled to receive or has received their Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related.
  • Understanding of the economic drivers for business case
  • Curiosity about regulation and governmental affairs relevant to decarbonation
  • Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and have relevant prior work experience
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
