Selected applicants will serve as entry-level trainees in the DLA Pathways to Career Excellence (PaCE) Program performing a series of progressively responsible  Supply Management Specialist functions, along with formal and on-the-job training (OJT).  While in the PaCE program, candidates will be promoted each year upon successfully meeting the requirements of the program.

Duties

  • Understands policy and offers advice to distribution center commanders.
  • Gathering and analyzing supply operational data to develop, provide and explain/justify recommendations as a team member on projects
  • Performs management improvement studies, collects data, and participates in development of recommendations.
  • Assist team members on projects in data collection and analysis, Quality Assurance and /or surveillance Plans, and Transition Plans.
