Entry-Level Remote Geospatial Data Analyst

Our client, Leidos, has an exciting entry-level opportunity to support geospatial data production within their Geospatial Integration and Solutions Portfolio. Are you interested in working with a dynamic team of geospatial analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to produce geospatial datasets that support national defense and humanitarian assistance missions globally? Are you a detail-oriented self-starter with strengths in quality and a desire to learn new skills applied to geospatial data production? Description:
- Will support geospatial data production within the Geospatial Integration and Solutions Portfolio.
- Will be able to gain a lot of exposure to various teams and departments such as: geospatial analysts, data scientists, and software engineers.
- Work remotely and gain valuable long term experience within a top defense contractor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Citizenship. (Could eventually be able to gain a clearance down the road).
- On-line ArcPro training through ESRI.
- HS or College coursework in GIS, with specific experience using ESRI ArcMap/Pro.
- Experience and/or training using open source GIS platforms such as QGIS
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related discipline.
- Experience with Python for GIS (ArcPy or equivalent).
- Professional experience using GIS to create specification compliant feature data or cartographic products.
