SUMMARY OF WHAT YOU’LL DO
In this role, you’ll work as part of a small research team diving into the challenge of understanding stroke physiology using wearable sensors. You’ll:
- Manage incoming clinical study data, using your coding skills to ingest and integrate parallel but disparate data from multiple sources into a single, comprehensive database
- Develop transformative methods (such as simple conversion scales) to transform descriptive data into analyzable formats, to extract insights from highly valuable but otherwise inaccessible data sources
- Analyze the data, using a combination of data visualization, statistics, and modeling, to extract insights from the data
- Collaborate closely with research and clinical collaborator team to understand the data and the insights it brings
- Communicate the findings across scientific and business/leadership teams
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science or similar field, with 0-2 years of experience
- 2-4 years experience programming in Python required
- Experience working with databases
- Experience in wearable physiological data analysis such as group classification based on physiological metrics
- Experience with analyzing data from multiple data sources, continuous and non-continuous
- Strong interest in wearable technology
- Strong interest in applied clinical research
- Experience with collecting physiological signal data preferred
- Good communication and collaboration skills at all levels
- Proactive, can-do attitude
- Ability to exercise sound and ethical judgment, and maintain data confidentiality
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced start-up setting
Salary Range: $83k-$102k

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This is a hybrid position - 2-3 days a week onsite preferred
