The Pricing and Revenue Management department helps us run a successful business by predicting consumer demand and setting pricing structures to optimize revenue.
Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Pricing and Revenue Management Internship Program offers an outstanding opportunity to work on high level projects that generate incremental revenue for our flights. Interns are placed into either Pricing or Revenue Management:
- Pricing – Defines price structure based on competition and customer willingness to pay
- Revenue Management – Forecasts customer demand and sets booking levels
This position offers students an opportunity to work on high-visibility cross-functional teams to formulate advanced seasonal plans, analyze market trends and communicate revenue opportunities to senior leadership. The intern will also develop analytical skills around consumer choice, price elasticity and customer segmentation.
Additionally, the intern will serve as an internal consultant providing business analyses on various critical initiatives such as:
- Developing and implementing revenue management strategies, customer segmentation approaches and new market launches
- Defining pricing issues and identifying how pricing facts, data, and decisions link to overall business strategy issues
- Creating queries and tools to improve business process and data management
Interns start as a group and are provided with training focused on industry dynamics, airline economics and Pricing / Revenue Management technical skills. A mentor is also assigned to each individual for personalized assistance and development.

Qualifications - External
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Current undergraduate student graduating in Dec. 2025 or Spring 2026, demonstrating strong academic performance
- Track record of outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Ability to apply quantitative skills and discernment to airline industry
- Position is based in Chicago, IL - must be able to relocate for internship duration
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now and in the future
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
- Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
