The environment is very collaborative, the tasks varied such that we could experience different aspects of policy research.

The workload was pretty heavy

Make sure that you convey your interest. Being assigned to a team/project does not mean you can’t learn about what other people are doing.

What I liked
I liked that I was able to take on such a wide variety of tasks as well as work with so many different initiatives and managers. It contributed to my understanding of research and development work as a whole.
What I wish was different
Advice
Be prepared to do administrative tasks. It is important to have at least some background in econometrics because certain tasks will require an understanding of statistical analysis.
