The Emerge Rotational Program has been an amazing and valuable experience for my early professional development. Throughout three rotations, I've had the opportunity to work on challenging and captivating projects that not only gave me insight into various functions of the business but also provided me with hands-on exposure to the gaming industry. Touching different areas of the business has helped me identify the fields that I'm the most interested in and excel at, which was one of my main goals for this program. I've also had the pleasure of meeting some of the most passionate and talented leaders and individuals at Aristocrat, which goes to show that our position as a market leader is driven by the people. I've experienced significant personal growth during this program, and I'm looking forward to the opportunities it will bring. It's also an incredibly fun and rewarding company to work for!

Advice
The gaming industry is niche and there can be a steep learning curve at times, but taking the time to talk to people across the organization and always being curious was incredibly helpful for understanding the landscape.

What I liked
Aristocrat is a great place to work! I love working with the people here. Everyone is so kind, and Aristocrat has a core value of being people-first. Aristocrat is an Australian company so there are few cultural nuances, with the work environment being more laidback. I worked remotely (from Las Vegas) and got to meet colleagues from across the world, and experience some of the cultural nuances from there too. During my internship, I also got to meet the other interns from across the country in person and tour the showrooms and manufacturing sites of Aristocrat. Overall, it has been a great experience! The company produces amazing products; the best in the industry. People are so creative and passionate to be here! I got a full-time position post-graduation; they are invested in young people!
