I loved the environment and people I got to interact with. It was also great to work in a mall as it was like work was always a vacation. I also really enjoyed learning about the technology Oakley has with their eyeware to improve my customer service/sales skills.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to continue working there throughout college, and that they would update their POS software.
Advice
Be yourself in the interview, recruiters are often looking for legitimate down to earth people more than square perfectly professional candidates.

What I liked
I liked experiencing my first sales job and getting used to thinking how a buyer would in order to make a sale.
What I wish was different
I don’t think I would have done anything differently- I used this job as a learning experience as well as a trial in order to find out if a career in sales could be right for me. (I’m currently interested in a career of Software Sales after I graduate with an Information Systems Major).
Advice
One piece of advice that I’d like to share about my experience is: Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and apply for a job that’s new or unfamiliar. Chances are with the right coworkers and job field, the transition of working can be smooth and even fun and enjoyable.
