Soaring is the best place I have ever worked! I loved working in the middle of the San Juan National Forest! The people and environment make the job! We had a beautiful walk to work everyday and food and housing was provided to us! The managers pushed us to be the best we can and learn all about the environment so we can share that with guests!
What I wish was different
I don’t think I would change anything about my experience! I’m sure some people might had asked for more phone service though!
Advice
Be prepared for a bit of a culture shock. We lived and worked 6 miles from the nearest road! There was very little in terms of phone service, obviously. The best advice I have is to go in with an open mind and heart, do that and you’ll fall in love with every part of the job!
