Marketing Intern

June - August 2018 • New York City, NY

What I liked

A lot of hands on experience. A very intimate working environment where it was easy to get a good idea of the true inner workings of a movie distribution company. The work felt important, fulfilling and you definitely were given a good chance to make a difference in the company. I did not feel overworked and what I did was interesting. In that sense their was a lot of freedom to work on what you wanted to and what interested you. The actual building was pretty incredible, working in the Sony building felt grand and the facilities were awesome.

What I wish was different

Not really any regrets. Maybe wish I had gotten more involved in office and building wise socializing. It was a fun place to work. There's a lot to do in the building and in working for Sony that I didn't take advantage of.

Advice

Take initiative. If they ask for you to get creative with a project, or to provide real feedback don't hold back.
